He did his very best to make the billows smooth and bright...

Travel Date: Tuesday, June 29

Once again we're back on Rt 90 heading west surrounding by nothing but....flat farm lands.  But since the last entry, we've managed to keep ourselves quite entertained.

From Cedar Point we followed our growling stomachs to the city of Chicago where a deep dish pizza awaited us at Lou Malnati's (good call Aft).  After gorging on ridiculously delicious pizza we knew we needed some beverages to wash it all down so we hopped back in the Yaris and ventured to Milwaukee, home of the MillerCoors Brewing company.

We finally made it to Wisconsin as made clear by the Cheese Castle along the highway (unfortunately it was not made of a cheese nor was it a castle).  When we arrived in Miller Country, a friendly lad named Danny led us around the brewery. From the caves were Frederick Miller kept his beer cool in 1855 when he started Miller Brewing using his special strain of yeast to the modern machinery which is currently in operation to bring all those suds to thirsty people around the country.  Our tour ended with some cold samples of the classic suds.

After recovering from Miller Time we hopped back in the car to drive to Goose Island where we set up camp in record time as the sun was setting.  We knew we needed to rest up for the following day's adventures of long car rides and exciting landmarks you could only find in the U.S.
